Let’s get you started.
Here is what to expect from the process of beginning therapy:
You should be proud of yourself for getting to this point! Beginning therapy can be scary, but it is not hard. I will make the process as simple as possible.
First, head to my contact page by using the menu or clicking the “contact me” button below.
Fill out the contact form, which will send me a direct email. I will reach back to you via email within 48 hours.
From here, we can directly book you an initial appointment or we can book a free 15 minute consultation call. A consultation call is a way to be sure we are a good fit for your treatment. I can explain more about my process and answer any questions you have during this call or via email if preferred.
If you decide to book an initial appointment, I will form a client profile for you, send you the intake forms and a brief assessment to tell me details about your hopes for therapy via email.
We would then meet in-person at my office in Lodi, California or via telehealth, if preferred.
It is important that you work with a therapist who is good fit for your needs and style. If for any reason, I am not that fit, I will help guide you in the right direction.
“Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren’t always comfortable, but they’re never weakness.”

FAQ
What is the length of each session?
The “1 hour” therapy session is a 50 minute session
What is the frequency of sessions?
The frequency varies depending on your needs. This can be weekly, biweekly, monthly, or occasionally.
We work together to determine your current level of care and this may change over time when you begin to see progress in your life.
Frequency may also be dependent upon availability of your preferred time slot. You can schedule appointments at the same time each session or differing days and times each session.
Do you offer telehealth/video sessions instead of in-person if I prefer?
Yes, I offer 50 minute video sessions via a secure platform and telephone sessions in increments of 30 or 50 minutes. Telehealth sessions are available to anyone who resides in the state of California. The law requires that therapists only provide telehealth in the state in which they are licensed in.
Do you accept insurance?
Not at this time. My services are private pay.
However, I can provide a “superbill” of your complete invoice at the end of the month. You may be able to submit this for reimbursement from your insurance company. I also accept HSA/FSA.
Please contact your insurance company directly to inquire about whether they reimburse for mental health services in this manner.
What is the cost of a session? Investing in your mental health.
It is $130/hour session for individual therapy sessions.
Couples and family sessions are $155/hour.
